Description:This library of translated materials is provided by the Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Management. Numerous informational disaster preparedness brochures are available on the website in 13 languages including Arabic, Spanish, Cambodian, Chinese, Farsi, French, Hmong, Japanese, Tagalog, Korean, Laotian, Vietnamese, and Russian. The brochures cover areas of disaster preparedness such as preparation for various types of disasters including earthquakes, winter storms, floods, and tornados, as well as basic safety information, supply checklists, and resources for helping children cope with disaster.
