| Description: | This ½ hour online training module provides general information on Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the integration of culturally competent practices into public health preparedness and emergency response. After completing the training module the participant should be able to understand Title VI and its implications, what it means to be culturally competent, understand the laws concerning cultural competency, and know the demographic distribution of people by language and race in North Carolina. Registration for this training session is free and provides Continuing Education Credits. |
