| Description: | This article provides empirical evidence of how Hurricane Katrina affected Bangladeshis immigrants living in New Orleans, particularly Bangladeshi exchange students at Tulane University whose schooling was interrupted. If the students are not able to promptly resume their studies their immigration status can be revoked. This may result in a community of undocumented immigrants. |
