| Description: | The Fritz Institute's BayPrep project seeks to improve disaster preparedness in the San Francisco Bay Area and ensure that vulnerable communities have been taken into account in disaster planning. Drawing on lessons learned from their global research on disaster relief effectiveness and collaborations with international aid organizations and the private sector around the world, BayPrep’s initiatives address existing gaps in disaster preparedness and advance the ability of the Bay Area to withstand and recover from a major disaster. The BayPrep website provides links to conference proceedings and reports which access gaps in emergency preparedness in the San Francisco Bay area. |
