This series of online learning modules provides guidance on applying Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards in a disaster context. Topics include the basic principles of culturally competent disaster services, such as being aware of one’s own cultural values, and concrete guidance for implementing CLAS standards across the preparedness, response, and recovery phases of an emergency.
